Aggie writes:

"At last, the ship finally arrived in Lisbon late morning – only three days late! The planned boat transfer was abandoned due to a heavy sea swell and a port call used instead. After arriving on board, the scientific party had a safety briefing before the ship set sail at 1330 hrs, heading to the first coring site in the Gulf of Cadiz some 24 hours away to the south."


The Queen Mary II dwarfed us as we passed by on our passage out of Lisbon.
