Today has been an eventful day to say the least! The day started fine with the TOBI survey continuing as expected until 17:00 GMT when the TOBI screens froze and the TOBI team were unable to re-establish a connection.  The decision was made to recover TOBI and began shortly after.  After 7days in the water TOBI was back on deck at 20:00GMT.  An initial evaluation by Lee and Duncan revealed that the problem could not be fixed immediately and we decided to make our way to a potential drill site that the scientific team chose when we received the news of the TOBI failure.  Shortly before midnight we arrived at our drill site and the drill was in the water by midnight.  Hopefully TOBI will be operational by tomorrow and we will continue with the rest of our survey.
