Michelle writes:

TOBI surveying continued today with the survey expected to be completed by Monday evening.  During the day the scientific team continued to discuss the sonar images received from TOBI and what sites we are going to target next week for sample collection by dredging and the rock drill. 

Our introduction to the crew continues with Purser Paul and Martin the Chief Petty Officer- Scientific.

Least favorite thing about your job: Being stuck away at sea, doing the same thing over and over—you can’t escape the repetition.

Favorite place:  Golfito, Costa Rica
Three words to describe yourself:  Very. Laid. Back.
Would be reincarnated as: An astronaut.  Or an alien.  Anything that can explore outer space.
Most interesting thing that ever happened at sea:  Standing on the after deck trying to recover equipment in bad weather, and finding myself up to my neck in water when a wave washed over the ship.
Why did the chicken cross the road?  To get away from Kentucky!
