Cruise diary

Tuesday 10 June 2008

As we are currently on our way back to the Azores, today has been used to catch up on things that we didn’t have time to complete while we were collecting data. Pedro has been busy with the rock saw, cutting our samples into slabs which can be taken back to the various universities involved in this project and analysed. Maurice has been processing the magnetics and Roger and Bram have been busy planning our next dives.

The PhD students have been slightly less productive, partaking in a variety of activities including sunbathing, movie watching and a ‘who can stand on one leg the longest’ championship.

Peter and Nicole describe a sample  from the last dive.
