Cruise diary

Wednesday 11 June 2008

Today we arrived back in the Azores to pick up our winch sprocket. This also gave the science team, who weren’t working, a chance to set foot on land for the first time in three weeks This was something we all took advantage of, with the exception of Chris Waters, who somehow managed to sleep through the entire thing.

We set off again at 13:00 and are due to arrive back on location by early Friday morning.

The RRS James Cook in Port.

Leaving the Azores (again).
