JC24: Dating volcanoes on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge

Cruise diary

Saturday 28 June 2008

Today we are due to arrive in Southampton at 15:00. It is hard to believe that after over 5 weeks on board the cruise is finally finished. Luckily we have had an excellent cruise with regards to the science, collecting all the data we set out to collect, and also had a great time. I think we will all be very sad to leave.

Our thanks go out to all the officers, crew and engineers on board, without whom this cruise would not have been possible, and to everybody at home who has shown an interest by reading this blog and sending us questions.

JC24 bids you all farewell!
